Welcome to our school council!

Latest news: We are currently raising money to buy a new fish tank.  Each class is working on an idea to raise £10 towards the new tank and fish.  Please help us out by donating any spare change you might have!  Ask your school council rep for more details.

Each class elects 2 School Council Representatives (reps). We try to meet every fortnight to talk about what is happening in school, to suggest how we can improve our school, and to sort out any issues or worries that we have. We have class council meetings where the children in each class tell us what they would like us to do to make our school an even better place to be.

We like to organise fundraising events like cake sales and help out with the summer fair. Last year we worked with the NSPCC to run a maths challenge in school and raise money for this charity. We have re-designed and improved our playground, including installing an adventure trail, a climbing zone and a fenced football area (MUGA – Multi Use Games Area). We have worked with the catering service to improve our school lunch menu, and we have set up speciall favourite lunch days.  Last term we worked with our teachers to develop a new marking and feedback policy for the school.
