We are here to work with your family throughout your child’s early years, and to offer the best start in life for all children.

Stay and Play sessions:
Join us and meet mew families whilst your child plays. Our experienced play leaders can offer support for parents getting into work, advice on parenting, local services, healthcare, and much more…
Tuesday – Stay and Play with Fay 1:30pm-3:00pm
Wednesday – Stay and Play with Raspal 1:30pm- 3:00pm
Thursday - Stay and Play with Raspal 10:00am-12:00pm
Friday - Stay and Play with Raspal 9:30am – 11:00am
Head Start Parent Support – during Thursday morning Stay and Play Session:
The local Health visitor comes in on the last Thursday of every month to offer advice and answer any questions. Speech and Language Therapist comes in on the 3rd Thursday of every month to support children.
Amanda’s Action Kids
Songs, musical instruments, stories and rhymes combined to have fun exploring with action songs – Join us every Monday 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Baby Massage
(5 week course) Learn simple baby massage techniques to support your baby’s physical and emotional development, promoting attachment, bonding and positive parenting. Every Thursday 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Advance booking required.
Family Support Drop in
Do you need some advice and support on children going through terrible 2’s, problems with behaviour, eating or sleeping difficulties, health care services, and much more? You are not alone, ALL parents at some time need a helping hand, encouragement and support.

Berkeley Borrowers – the family lending Library
Open to children in Berkeley Primary School from year 1 to year 6
Join us every Thursday in the school Hall at 3:15pm
It is a Family Library, where children and their parents can borrow games, toys, books to take home. Our Family library collection includes many well designed toys, games, puzzles and equipment and has:
- toys which can be borrowed regularly for a fixed period of time and changed for others when you want,
- toys suitable for children with additional support needs
- Trained and experienced staff that can provide reliable information, ideas and advice about play.

Volunteers
We are always happy to welcome parents and carers who would like to volunteer within the school, supporting children with reading, writing or maths skills or assisting with Berkeley Borrowers, making resources i.e. laminating etc, cake sales, or even the summer fair! Please arrange to see Fay for more information.
