It is very important that children attend school regularly and on time. Regular attendance at school enables children to make the best of the educational opportunities available to them. If your child is absent from school, please contact the school office on the first day of absence to let us know the reason why.
Term and holiday dates are printed regularly in the school newsletter and are also included with this prospectus. Children are not entitled to any leave during the term except in very exceptional circumstances. It is essential to make an appointment to see the Headteacher if exceptional leave is needed. The school works closely with the Local Authority’s Education Welfare Officer who monitors the attendance and punctuality of all pupils.
